Abstract

Monoactylferrocene and diactylferrocene were successfully used to prepare [(5-C5H5)Fe ${(5-C5H4)C(CH3)=N-N(H)C(O)-C6H4-OH}$ ] (3) and C5H5)Fe ${(5-C5H4)C(CH3)=N-N(H)C(O)-C5H4N}$ ] (4) and [Fe ${(5-C5H4)C(CH3)=N-N(H)C(O)-C6H4-OH}$ 2] (5) and [Fe ${(5-C5H4)C(CH3)=N-N(H)C(O)-C5H4N}$ 2] (6) respectively. These new compounds have been characterized by FTIR, NMR spectroscopic methods.
