Abstract
Distributed generation plays an important role in today's energy and environmental challenges. The placement of DG significantly affects the distribution network operation. It is great challenge to determine the best locations and capacities of DG, which has to provide technical, economical and environmental benefits along with satisfaction of constraints. Here, the multi-objective planning consider minimization of investment cost, maintenance cost, operation cost, network loss cost and cost of energy purchased from grid.
