Abstract
Throughout this research work, homemade Spray pyrolysis technique is used to synthesize thin films. Zinc Oxide (ZnO) and Bismuth ferrite (BiFeO3, BFO) thin films are prepared using this technique. ZnO thin films are prepared using Zinc Chloride ZnCl2 as a precursor. BFO thin films are prepared using Bi(NO3)3.5H2O and Fe(NO3)3.9H2O in the precursor solution. XRD analysis is done for phase confirmation. Multilayer thin films of BiFeO3 and ZnO have been synthesized. FESEM analysis, UV-Vis analysis has been done for surface morphology, bandgap calculation. Temperature dependence of resistance has also been studied. BFO-ZnO junction is prepared and its R-T and I-V measurement has been done to compare with the results obtained from multi-layers.
