PMU detects the faults in less than seconds and it also gives a time synchronized values and it also gives a time synchronized values of current and voltage in digital form and it is given to local PDC. When major disturbances like blackouts occur, the protection and control of the actions has to be initiated against the power system degradation which in turn restore the system to a normal state and minimize the impact of disturbance.The PMU sends the magnitude and phase values of voltage and current to PDC and in PDC matrix of voltage and current are formed.If any PMU is faulty that pmu can’t send data to PDC.So matrix formed in the PDC is incomplete.In this thesis we restore those missing entries of the matrix formed in PDC by Matrix completion method.The proposed method has been validated in IEEE 14 bus system using MATLAB Simulink Model.
