This thesis gives the idea of IoT aware traffic management system with inductive loop sensor interfacing.It also gives an effective inductive loop pattern which is suitable for heterogeneous and less lane disciplined traffic, it also suitable for Indian mixed traffic scenario.The system consisting the inductive loop operated on its resonant frequency and a small amount of sinusoidal or square ac voltage signal. The loop sensor further connected to the microcontroller, which will provide the output value of the sensor. Microcontroller converts the analog input of the sensor to a digital and direct display form of the output. Using Arduino Uno and its programming language, getting the desired output from the raw output of sensor.
Using those output values, vehicle of a traffic system will be detected, classified, and other parameter also calculated. Speed of the vehicles can be calculated. The microcontroller data further transferred to MySQL database using python programming running in the back end. All the data have been stored to the MySQL database table. To make the whole system IoT aware, the MySQL database data have been uploaded to the internet through MySQL and real time data from the sensor to detect vehicle will be seen in the internet at the same time.
