Abstract
National Institute of Technology, Rourkela is one of the reputed institutions for technical education in India covering an area of 262 hectares. The main objective of the project is to develop a portal for management of seminars which will he hosted on our institution server. The portal provides a suitable and easy display for which the admin, department or student can view and upload the seminar details. Basically at what time, which department, which speaker, contact details etc. are provided on this portal. Using ASP.NET technologies and SQL Server, this portal is designed.
