Abstract

The prime objective of this project is to implement FIR filter using Distributed Arithmetic method. In order to perform the filter computation, it is a prime requirement to process real world signals and extract information from them. Hence ADC interfacing is essential since it converts analog world to digital domain so as to make it suitable for digital operations. The FIR Filter is simulated using Distributed Arithmetic method and is simulated in XILINX ISE Design Suite 14.2 and ADC is interfaced with Spartan 3e FPGA board. Afterwards, digital output is converted into its analog counterpart via DAC interfacing with the same Spartan 3e board
